Orange - Citrus aurantium
Method of Extraction: Expressed from the peel of the fruit.
Description: Sweet, warm, citrus aroma. Pale yellow to amber in colour. Sweet orange is a lower-cost essential oil because it tends to be produced as a by-product of orange juice.
Directions and Specific Safety Advice: Always read carefully the latest instructions and precautions which come with the product. This oil is 100% pure, natural and undiluted. Dilute 3-5 drops in 10ml of carrier oil. Do not take internally. Do not use undiluted on the skin. Keep away from children. Keep away from the eyes. Do not use during pregnancy. To be used in moderation by those with sensitive skin. Avoid use in direct sunlight.
Suggested uses:
This wonderful oil makes an excellent addition to any winter evening. For a heart-warming bath, blend 2 drops of Sweet Orange, 3 drops of Lavender and 2 drops of Benzoin in a teaspoon of Peach Kernel oil before adding to a hot bath for a long soak!
For the perfect Christmas atmosphere, add 3 drops of Sweet Orange and 2 drops of Frankincense, and I drop of clove to the water in an oil burner.
