Organic Lemongrass - Cymbopogon citratus
Method of Extraction: The fresh or partly dried leaves of the grass.
Description: Fresh, clean, citrus aroma. Yellow to amber in colour. Most of the grass after distillation is used locally to feed cattle.
Directions and Specific Safety Advice: Always read carefully the latest instructions and precautions which come with the product. This oil is 100% pure, undiluted and organically produced. Dilute 3-5 drops in 10ml of carrier oil. Do not take internally. Do not use undiluted on the skin. Keep away from children. Keep away from the eyes. Do not use during pregnancy. Lemongrass should be used in moderation by those with sensitive skin.
Suggested uses:
Like most lemon-scented oils, Lemongrass can be very refreshing. Try adding one drop each of Lemongrass, Lavender and Geranium to a bowl of warm water and soaking tired feet for 10 minutes.
A few drops of Lemongrass and Cedarwood in an oil burner will help keep insects away during the summer months.
