Quebra Pedra is also known by a number of other names: Chanca Piedra, Stone Breaker, Pitirishi, Shatter Stone, Quinina Criolla, Hurricane Weed, Phyllanthus niruri.
Quebra Pedra (aka. Chanca Piedra) is a small herb that grows up to 30 or 40cm in height - and is commonly known as 'the Stone Breaker.' It is indigenous to the rainforests of Brazil, and to other tropical areas of the world including the Bahamas, Southern India and China.
Traditionally the herb is prepared as an infusion, so Rio Health offer easy to use teabags or potent capsules which are an equally effective and convenient way to use this wonderful herb. Rio Health sources this small but powerful plant through a network of individual and experienced gatherers who have great expertise in the identification of medicinal herbs. The individual harvests are also positively identified in a botanical laboratory in the University of Sao Paulo, where levels of the actives are continually checked.
Directions: take 3 capsules per day, either all together during mid-morning or 1 before each meal as preferred.
Ingredients: 500mg of Quebra Pedra (Phyllanthus niruri) pure extract powder at 5:1 strength ratio, equivalent to 2500mg whole herb; capsule shell: vegetable cellulose.
