Alpha Lipoic acid is a powerful naturally occurring antioxidant and studies also suggest an anti-oxidant role for Acetyl L-Carnitine. Acetyl L-Carnitine is a precursor for the neurotransmitter Acetyl choline and Alpha lipoic acid can play a part in the regeneration of the antioxidants, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Glutathione.
