Lutein is a yellow carotenoid that is not made in the body, and so has to be obtained through the diet or through supplementation. It is found in the macula of healthy neyes and, like all carotenoids, is an antioxidant. Eyewise provides a full 10mg of lutein per tablet in a pure free-form, as this is chemically identical to the lutein found in green, leafy vegetables.
Directions: Take 1 tablet daily with a meal. If necessary, a second tablet can be taken with a subsequent meal. Do not take if pregnant or breast feeding. Always read carefully the detailed instructions and precautions which come with the product.
