The antioxidant mineral, Selenium, is needed to make the body’s own antioxidant enzyme, glutathione peroxidase. It also helps maintain healthy cardiovascular, immune, and reproductive function, as well as healthy hair and nails, thyroid and brain function. A daily multivitamin is also recommended.
Suggested intake: Take 1 tablet a day, with meals (children over 8 years, 1 every other day).
One tablet typically provides: 200µg Selenium (selenomethionine).
